Fiat Professional continues to expand: in the last 5 years its has completely renewed its range of products, and has also introduced new models.
2006 was the launch year of the Nuovo Ducato which, even today, continues to be at the cutting edge of the range: a distinctive, state-of-the-art look, comfort and high-level performance, even more comprehensive telecommunications and safety equipment, low maintenance costs and countless accolades from the international press as the best vehicle for leisure conversions.
In the same year, the Doblò Cargo won the prestigious "International Van of the Year 2006" award due to its original design, new long-wheelbase versions, sparkling Multijet and Natural Power diesel engines, and its increased carrying capacity and load volume.
2007 saw the launch of the Nuovo Scudo, a vehicle combining the attributes of a car (performance levels, manoeuvrability and comfort), with those more typical of business transport (space, easy loading, reliability), and improving on the strong points of the previous model with a complete range of people-carrying vehicles .
2008 was the year of the Nuovo Fiorino : created to meet the latest needs of urban goods transport, for those who spend a lot of time travelling, or who have to make deliveries (for instance tradespeople, maintenance workers, service companies or pony express).
Unique and innovative, with original and dynamic styling, roomy, compact, easy to load, agile in traffic and affordable to maintain, it won the prestigious "International Van of the Year 2009" award, international recognition for this safe and manoeuvrable vehicle that is able to “go where others cannot reach”.
The New Doblò Cargo was the shining star in 2010: volumes up to 4.6 m3, 1 ton of load capacity and a load compartment up to 3.4 metres in length; NEDC fuel consumption of 4.8 litres/100 km, range of 1,250 km and CO2 emissions of just 126 g/km with the 90 HP 1.3 MultiJet II Euro 5 engine. It is the only one in the segment with Bi-link suspension. The record-breaking van won the Van of the Year 2011 award.
In 2010 the Fiorino of model year 2011 arrived after having been updated in its engines, dashboard design, interiors and bodywork colours, as well as product contents, while the New Doblò Cargo - today also available in the Natural Power version- was named Europe's Van of the Year 2011.
