The Electronic Stability Control is a system that manages the vehicle stability the event of loss of grip, helping maintain directional control.
Integrated in the ESC system, it automatically activates during hill starts. With the engine running it blocks the vehicle for a few seconds, without the need to brake.
A great help for driving and setting off in poor grip conditions (snow, ice, mud etc), it allows the drive force to be distributed over the same axle when both wheels are slipping. The Traction+ system acts by blocking the wheels with the least grip (or those that are slipping the most) and transferring the drive force to those which have the most grip.
It allows you to drive on long and straight roads (for example on motorways) at a pre-set speed without having to press the accelerator pedal.
